Auburn High quarterback Calvin Jenkins spent most of his Fridays this fall — for the past three falls, as a matter of fact — making opponents look silly and leading the Tigers to their most successful season in terms of wins, points and prestige.

Down Highway 14, Loachapoka’s Patrick Moore was doing the exact same thing, helping take the Indians further into the playoffs than they had ever gone in nearly four decades of football.
