AREA ROUNDUP: OMS wrestlers finish strong

PRATTVILLE — The Opelika Middle School wrestling team had a strong showing at the Cat’s Classic over the weekend with four first-place finishers individually and a third-place overall finish as a team.

Demond Pulliam (95), Josh Wilson (125), Rico Lewis (155) and Xavier Drake (175) all brought home the title in their weight classes.

T.J. Normand finished second in the 85-pound division, and Carter Neighbors (85) and Jacarri Luckey (103) finished third.
