AREA ROUNDUP: Wacoochee tops AJHS

The Wacoochee Jr. High Volleyball team beat Auburn Jr. High, in Auburn, 2-0, on Thursday.

The Panthers took Game 1, 25-20, and clinched the match win with a 26-24 victory.

Powerful serving was key to the Panthers’ victory.  Mallory Mills, Kaleigh Hudson, Jessica Weed and Janie Weed each had three service aces. 

Angel Kilpatrick, Abbie Bryant and Haley Worrell each had two service aces. 

Kristin Moss had one service ace and Alyssa Nevels and Julia Crews each had one kill.

The Panthers (4-0) next play on Monday at St. Luke.
