DIXIE ALL-STARS: Auburn Blue 11-12s advance in state tournament

DECATUR — Auburn Blue left the yard four times in a 12-1, four-inning win over Chiltauga in the quarterfinals of the Dixie Youth O-Zone (11-12) state tournament Tuesday.

Will Eiland hit a three-run shot and Tyus O’Neal, Hunter Roland and Chase Storm all hit solo home runs in the win. Travis Arnold was 2-for-2 and Auburn scattered three other hits.

Storm and Adam Finley combined for the win on the mound, each pitching two innings.

Auburn takes on the winner of the Dothan Southern/Taylorville game in the semifinals at 7:30 tonight.
