ALEX CITY — The No. 7 team in Class 5A made short work of the No. 5 team in Class 4A on Monday, as Beauregard’s baseball team blanked Cleburne County, 10-0, in the opening round of the Lake Martin Classic.
AU MEN’S GOLF: McCurdy, Tigers dominate Shootout
The Auburn men’s golf team (293-592) topped the field in the 2010 Tiger Shootout on Monday at the Auburn University Club. Auburn golfers claimed the top six spots in the field, led by sophomore Will McCurdy (70-144) who claimed his first collegiate medalist honors.
