TALLASSEE — The Tallassee wrestling team opened the 2009-10 season with a 39-31 win over Benjamin Russell on Tuesday.
Josh Epperson (103), Pierce Gowan (125), Joel Langley (130), Josh Highland (135), Chris Adams (152), Heath Beasley (160) and T.C. Robinson (heavyweight) all won for the Tigers.
OHS 9th grade falls
The Opelika ninth-grade boys basketball team lost to Russell County, 40-34, on Tuesday.
Tre Purter led the Bulldogs with 12 points.
