Auburn High’s boys and girls soccer teams notched shutouts against Stanhope Elmore in sectional play at Duck Samford Stadium on Thursday, with the girls winning, 7-0, and the boys taking a 5-0 win.
Savannah Glidewell, Betsy Pudner, Emily Martin, Leigh Anne Kuhn and Addie Fargason each scored one, and Madison Hill scored two for the Tigers’ girls (7-3-1).
Johnny Riddell, Tyler Schnuelle, Kyle Mackay, Jimmy Goldberg and Alec Rhodes all notched goals for Auburn’s boys (7-2), and Clint Lothrop recorded the shutout in goal.
Both teams return to action March 23 at home against Lee-Montgomery.
